What kind of Bully Sticks do you buy that they are full of chemicals? They are baked and dried/dehydrated. The good ones all say "no additives, no chemicals" I've given mine sticks forever and we've not had a problem with diarrhea unless Loki eats an ENTIRE 12" stick. They are like 80% protein so I think that would happen with too much of anything. Also, you can have any treat spoil or have bacteria in it. |
Are they wrapped in an air tight container? They would have to be if there were no preservatives on them. I like to feed my girls their home made food, and for chewing, I buy the beef femur bones. It's so much better for their teeth.
