Default doppler

My friend, Rini Werner uses hers all the time. She used to come to my house and listen to my 4/5 week gestation moms...she was never wrong on the number.....My vet would give his opinion from the xray at 8 weeks, ask how many Rini heard and if it was more then he saw, he said.."go with whatever Rini says"...her record was 100%. She heard 4 one time and only three showed on the xray...then after whelping 3, a tiny, tiny girl was born..so small she never showed on the xray...
She tried to teach me and I could tell if a girl was pregnant at 4 weeks, but not how many...I do not have the ability to distinguish the different sounds of the pups heart beats..each pup sounds differen, but it can be a very tiny difference...Rini is a retired nurse...many breeders find them very useful...
