First, make sure hair isn't blocking the anus. If it is, take very small scissors and trim it.

If poop gets "hung" partway out, put warm water in the sink or in a basin and soak his rear end in it until it softens enough to remove.

Rebel has done this (especially when he was a baby) and this is what I did. Also, I put a little baby oil on his anus with a q-tip because his little bottom was sore.

If he seems to be constipated, try about a teaspoon of plain pumpkin. (not pumpkin pie filling)
