Yes it does help!
We have a nice big protein skimmer, but haven't been able to set it up yet because we haven't finished building our sump and overflow box. I think that will help a lot. And I do think that we overfeed. I will look into the filtration options, because I sure don't want to have to do another water change. We do change 10 gallons every month (20%). I think I am getting good advice from the local fish store and a separate fish forum that I am on, but I am getting a LOT of advice, and it is hard to wade through. It is such a nerve wracking hobby, just because I don't really know what will happen next! |
