I'm so sorry that your baby has a 5/6 heart murmur...I hope someone on here has answers for you. Which heart meds do they want to put your sweet baby on? There are supplements that you can give your baby to help protect the liver from the some of the damage that the meds might cause...
Ladymom, another member on here, has a baby who has epilepsy and has to take phenobarbitol which is extremely hard on the liver, but because she gives her milk thistle/Marin, her liver is doing great!
I will say a little prayer for your baby...
