If she has a dingleberry (pooh stuck in the fur close to her bottom) It can pull and hurt and freak her out in exactly the way you are describing. Every time she moves, it hurts and that will scare her more and cause her to panic.
Did you have a chance to check her little bottom for anything stuck there?
