So here is my idea. I bought one of those play yards and intend to put his bed, toys food and water in it along with a pee pad. I have heart to line the entire area with pee pads and decrease them slowly. Should I do this or just put one in there from the get go?

That is the way I did it with my pups from the time they were tiny and it really works! That way they get used to going on the pad from the very beginning. So when it moves they move to it.
