Lol. We showered them with love and affection and they all turned out to be the best dogs. However...you get people who buy them and shove them in a cage all their life not letting them have enough exercise and attention or if they do something wrong..instead of calmly correcting them..they hit them and yell at them...then yea...That dog is gonna grow up and be your worst enemy or just wait until it can get away from you and tear up the first thing that comes into its field of vision. They can be mean but its all in the way their owner raised them. Im not trying to cause a congflict I just disagree with what people think of pits and feel obligated to share my story in defense for the breed...not for the dog that attacked the horse..but for the breed. So please dont act like they are terrible breeds that need to be done away with...its the crappy way people treat animals that needs to be done away with...Vick...man raping dog...come on..that is disgusting and disturbing! We need more of us YTers to own animals! |
I have to agree with you!!! I've grown up around Pit Bulls and they are the sweetest dogs ever. Just like any other dog - if you raise them to be cruel & mean , then that's what you'll get. Here in Ontario they've banned Pit Bulls (I think - not too sure how that law went down ) but nevertheless, BAN THE DEED NOT THE BREED!
I hope the horse heals up fast!

Ditto... as much as my heart hurts for the horse, its hurting for the Pit as well... who would shoot their own dog? Clearly you are not a good owner to have him on the loose like that, and become such a violent dog! I hate bad owners, I really do!
