If you want to take her food away at night when she's older, then I would recommend giving scheduled feedings instead of free feeding. The reason I say this is because maybe she hasn't eaten all day because she's expecting to eat at night, and then she goes over to her bowl, but it's empty because you took up the food. Ya know??
I goofed - I meant to write that she was 11 wks old (not 10) and will be 12 wks old tomorrow...but I totally agree with your post and that is exactly the reason I have still been free feeding her.

I think I will wait for at least another couple of months or so before considering a different way of feeding her.

She is doing so well right now!
