Last night my 6 1/2 week old puppy had a very hard time going poo. He finally did and then he acted like his usual self.

Today, he was very lethargic so when I checked him, he had dried stool on his booty. I cleaned him up and he went potty.

I put him back in bed but he is shivering. I am not sure if he has a tummy ache from pushing and because he had a "plug" could not go or if something else is wrong.

Any suggestions? I don't know whether to take him to the vet as I am not sure what they can do. Like I said, once he was cleaned up he did go potty but I don't like him shivering.
