My puppy is 7 months old tomorrow. He has stopped nipping our hands so much since he got neutered, however he LOVES to nip at our feet or go after our toes when we take our shoes off...not aggressively but in a playful manner. We have tried everything including saying "no" very sternly but that just seems to make him get more worked up thinking we are playing. He has gotten me a few times and pinches with his new big boy front teeth and it HURTS! My husband is diabetic and I worry about him breaking his skin and it getting infected.

We love this little guy so much and I don't like having to scold him so much...I want to know if anyone has any other ideas for me. My husband said someone told him to spray a little bit of bitter apple in his mouth and say No Bite...but I wanted your opinions....NOTHING seems to be helping...even time outs in his pen.
