I see nothing wrong with skin and furbabies being near each other even at Amelia's young age as long as they are supervised. I often let Gypsy lay across my knee at the back of Amelia while she's nursing.
This is the first time Gypsy has gone to lay with just Amelia though... I think she was a little put out at being caught though! lol
