That is so scary and I never thought of identity theft until all these government computers have been stolen with everyone's social security numbers. I just subscribed to Lifelock and it only costs $10 a month and for me it was worth it - if something should happen they do all the legwork and you are insured up to $1M. They have a great commercial out with the CEO giving out his real SS# and I even saw TV reporters doing a story on this company and trying to use his SS# and they couldn't use it to open up any accounts, etc.
