I am soooooooooo excited. Many of you can remember that I have been wanting to quit my job for a long time now. Well, I own the company and only have a bookkeeper that works for me. So I do most of the work, and we really can't afford to replace me. Well, my investor is in town and last night we had dinner with my bookkeeper. I ended up having to leave early, but my husband (who owns the company with me) and our investor got to talking to our bookkeeper and asked her if she would be interested in taking over for me. I would still have ownership, but not have to do the day to day work. I seriously never thought she would want to...but she seemed extremely interested!!! OMG...I am so happy. my investor said he would make sure I still got my salary for a couple of months, and he would continue my health insurance indefinitely. So this is really happening! we still have details to work out, but I am really looking forward to being able to stay home and be wife and mom...especially with the new baby coming!!!
so...keep your fingers crossed for me
