I , like you, waited to get my first Yorkie too. I worked so many hours ... for so many years and just didn't have the time ( or energy ) to adopt until I was 45 years old! Then things changed and it just seemed like the perfect time. I had her name picked out for years and when by chance I had met her ... it was
at first sight and now I have ..... FIVE!
I think Walker will be around 7-8 lbs and I think that is such a nice size, but then again ... each yorkie is unique in their growing stage and he could slow down quite a bit too. You will just have to wait and see...
As for books, I have read quite a few, but the information on this site is the best. Everyone here is helpful and will go out of their way to help you find the answers you seek.
