not sure about the potty training issue since i am going through the same thing right now with my two babies
as far as the barking, people here on YT mentioned filling a soda can with pennies and shaking it near them and saying "NO BARK" when they are barking...it has totally turned my little bentley around...all i have to do now is just pick up the can and he stops
... he really hates the sound
