DD's fish are WEIRD!!! One committed suicide (jumped from the tank) another got eaten, one went into the coral & forgot how to turn around & drowned. One our pump went out. . . I HATE fish! but she wants to be a marine biologist, so loves them.
I would have a zoo if I could. My oldest brother pretty much does. When I was a kid he had a galapagos turtle as a footstool (live) and a great snow owl that lived loose in his house. He is an ornithologist, is on the presidents environmental council, is the consultant for NASA on birds & the space shuttle, has written tons of books, travels all over, has a tv show in MS. I grew up with frozen dead animals in the freezer that he was studying.....
