You apparently start out with 7 minutes or so (I have heard different timings...but they have always been over 5 minutes). I set the timer...it's the longest time EVER!. Then you go and open the door and let your puppy out and resume normal play..just as if nothing happened. When they do it again, you do EXACTLY the same thing again. Say the same phrase and remove them from the fun (like a kid timeout) for the 7 minutes or whatever. Yorkies are really smart and mine picked up on the idea that putting teeth on people isn't such a grand and fun idea. The key to it was to to be totally consistant. No "you can put teeth on this person, but not on that person". It has to be the same rules for all humans. Anyway..hope this helps. It helped tons for us. Oh..and additionally, make sure you have all sorts of different toys for him to chew on..different textures. Like those kong baby puppy bones (really soft plastic), as well as maybe a stuffed toy and a chew stick (the kind made from beef tendon or something). They do like to chew at that age..teething.

I'm going through this with my puppy, I'll try this, thanks!
