I am new to YT. I don't have my baby yet but am hopeful to get one someday. I have a shih tzu, a sheltie, and a lab though.
You're so lucky to be getting a yorkie. I have been wanting one for 3 years but where I live, there are no breeders near me. I "settled" for a shih tzu (Teddy) and he's a cutie but deep down I still ache for my yorkie. I know she's out there somewhere just waiting for me.
Anyway, Teddy gets car sick all the time. I would definitely use the kennel/carrier because it's easier to clean up the messes inside that rather than the upholstery of your car.
