My little one is going to be 2 in June. I had the same problem and even now and then, I still have to wipe the side when he "misses". He hikes whether at home or outside. What I do is put a bottle (mineral water bottle/coke bottle/etc-choose a suitable size) filled with water and put it in the middle of the pee pad. I smear the side of the bottle with his pee so that there is urine smell on it and he will get the idea of peeing on it when he hikes his leg. He gets the idea only sometimes he is lazy and he'll pee at the corner of the pee pad and that is when he 'misses'. |
