Denise, I'm sorry you had to make such a difficult decision. But you will look back & be so glad you were there with your daughter. My daughter danced from age 3 until her graduation last year. She not only had recitals, but was part of the dance competition team & attended competitions several times a year, I wouldn't have dreamed about missing one -- it all goes by so fast, even when its stressful.
My daughter's former studio is having recital that same weekend & I love the teachers (they're actually the ones who were Bubba & Roxy's first owners) & the studio so much, that I too thought about not going to the meetup so I could go to the dance recital this year.
I wish I had the money to put you on a 6 am flight Saturday morning to KC so you could be there with us!! I was so looking forwarding to meeting you & Maddie. But you're going to be in the right place
