When I did a search for "Parks & Recreation" areas within 5 miles of the hotel, I got 92 results
!!! That's why I wasn't sure
which park would be best for the meet-up! I had a few specific locations in mind though from my knowledge of the area, and we scoped them out while I was home for Christmas. Without a doubt, I think the best area for the Friday meet-up is Loose Park! Loose Park (
http://www.kcmo.org/parks.nsf/web/loose) is a popular park in the Plaza area (1.64 miles from the hotel), and it is beautiful and dog-friendly. They even have poop bags provided for the doggie visitors! The hotel WILL provide the FREE shuttle for all of us and our babies to the park. The Friday meet-up is why I've requested as many x-pens as possible, so that we can hook them all together and let the babies run, while we all chit-chat and get to know each other
