The only scheduled c-section that I know of was done on my friend's Bulldog. Another friend's bitch was almost a week overdue and went ahead and did the c-section before labor...all pups were fine.
As the norm, though, I do not think that it is necessary unless the vet feels that something is definitely wrong with the bitch. JMO |
