Please get it done soon. Crypty's tend to have more issues with behavior than dogs with normally descended testicles, something about the levels of testosterone. They are also extremely fertile!! Be careful with him around any females.

The sooner you get it done, the less likely he will have any behavior problems that become habit. Ranger was a crypty, and had his surgery when he broke 4lbs., which was just last month. He also had four teeth pulled and an umbilical hernia fixed. He was a pretty sad pup for two days but bounced back super fast.

The surgery will be a little more expensive than a regular neuter, but in the long run it is well worth it. My little guy was started to hump things and getting really bossy, but this has stopped completely about two weeks after the surgery.
