Thanks for asking your BF!

I wondered at first if they were molting, but they completely stopped moving, and then one of my Nassarius snails started eating it, and that was a sure fire sign that he was dead. Then about an hour later the other one did the same thing. I have seen them lose their skin many times and it is pretty cool to see the exoskeleton they leave behind, but I know that there was no life left in these little guys when we pulled them out of the tank.

All of my fish are still alive this morning. I think the snail that chowed down on the shrimp has died, but the other snails I have are still alive, as well as a hermit crab. All I can do now is watch and see.
