My dogs are 4.5 months old and 6 months old. Next month, I have a seminar to attend, and my hubby is going to go with me. So will the pups.
It may be hard to get them outside as frequently as they should go, so I have piddle pads. I also have an X-pen for them. I'll take some favorite toys. The room has a refrigerator and a microwave, so there won't be any problems with their food. I'll take bottled water.
They have a bed that they fall into after they play, but they sleep in separate crates at night. And that's my question:
Should I take their crates, or just let them sleep in the bed at night, confined to the X-pen with a piddle pad? They are both SO good about using their crate at night (or any time we're in the bedroom); I don't want to have them develop bad habits and suddenly decide they don't want to use them any more. By the same token, I really don't want to have to haul any more up to the room than I have to. My hubby's disabled and I already have his scooter to contend with, so anything extra I can cut down would be wonderful - but not if it will let the pups develop bad habits
