Ok, I had Jake for a little over a year before I got Jackson. We've always been very careful to make sure not to pay more attention to Jackson than to Jake. I didn't want him feeling bad about bringing a new puppy in. I think maybe I've gone overboard with it or something because now Jackson is VERY jealous of Jake, but Jake doesn't seem to mind when I'm playing with Jackson or holding him.

They are both huge mommy's boys. Jake is really small at 4.5 lbs. Jackson is 6.5 lbs. Jake likes to curl up on my lap and when he does, Jackson acts like his feelings are so hurt, even though I try to encourage him to come sit with us. He will sulk around or sit on the floor with his back to me and give me sad looks...it breaks my heart. I know I'm a softy with them, and I know Jackson might be playing me a little bit, but I don't want him feeling left out. I pay alot of attention to them both, but how do I get Jackson to realize that when I'm holding Jake, it's okay for him to come sit with us too. He rarely will, even though I try and try.
