Our beloved 14 year 9 month old yorkie died Monday night. He was declining over the past 2-3 months, but had recently stabilized and I thought we would have more time. That being said, I am sorry for us (but happy for him...he went his way on his terms). He died peacefully with everyone at home and we found him almost immediately. He was warm and we were all able to hold him and love him.
We got Moosie before we were married and he has lived through births of Katie (12) and Abby (10), the adoption of John (4) and has two furry brothers - Griffin (Yorkie 13) and Crosby (Lab 5). He was (and is) so special. I miss him so much.

He is buried under a dwarf weeping cherry tree that Dad and the kids gave me for Mother's Day 2007. It's right out the kitchen window and very comforting. Thanks for listening.
