They probably just don't want your dog to get diarrhea and they get blamed for it....
Technically, anything that says AAFCO can be fed as 100% of a dog's diet.

Maybe call Canidae and tell them you want to feed all canned, is it okay?
If it is not then they need to get the AAFCO label off.
