Yeah, I was born and raised in Washington (state- not DC), but my family was mostly in Oklahoma. My Nonnie taught me how to make good gravy when I was 12 and that was probably one of the most important things I learned to make.
Yeah, I know never heard of gravy from a jar, I've seen the packages of powdered gravy, which is soooooo bland and gross, but never a jar.
