How can I get Bijou my little over hyper fur ball to react to any kind of discipline? He just wont listen and only wants to jump, run away from me, play, grab what is not his, and anything but listen to a simple come, or sit even when treats are in abundance? Since he has settled he is overly hyper. Yes I walk and walk and walk him. I cant today it is raining torrential rain here, so he is in his crate as he is bouncing off the wall.
I have been trying to train him to settle down by doing the sit position, but I do not know how to get past this hyperness. Any ideas?
He wont sit even when I use the treat and the push down method, he grabs the treat and dashes off again
