Yes, they are often found in beds and furniture, sometimes you go to a hotel and you begin to itch, WATCH it, they are bed bugs. I saw a documentary on CNN last year about this hotel in Boston that was INFESTED with bed bugs. One woman has to be hospitalized as she had zillions of bug bites.

here is a great article on them, they are becoming more and more a problem and your home does not have to be dirty for them to invade it.
