Jim and I watched Animal Planet last night and it was so sad! This crazy man had 247 cats in his house! There was crap all over the house - it was a total disaster. Those cats and that man were living in filth. It took them 2 days - working 8 hours each day - to remove all the cats. But in the end they had to euthanize all 247 cats because they were too wild to be adopted out. I was so sad!
Then they rescued a bunch of pit bulls that were used in dog fights and they all had to be put to sleep. Some of those pit bulls were so violent and it took 2 men to bring them out of the garage they were being kept in. Then they found this female pit who was all scared and marked up - plus, she was so skinny that you could see her ribs. She was sooo afraid to come out of her dog house when they tried to lure her out. They had to euthanize her too.
This stuff just makes me so mad!
I especially felt sorry for that girl pit bull because she was so afraid of humans. She was really scared up bad.
