Not a yorkie, but my Corgi had to have surgery for that. (I actually was able to get him from a top breeder because he wouldn't be able to show him- my absolute luck!!!!!)
He came through fine, no problems, but they did keep him over night since the surgery was longer than normal.
On a sorta funny note- years later a vet (who we no longer go to
) offered to put in prosthetics... down there... I guess this isn't uncommon in the show world??
