I dont limit water, but with the new puppy I take the bowl away before bedtime so at 9pm that is his last watering. Bandit has water 24 7 but he drinks only a dribble and he is completely house trained. Bijour the newbie drinks a lot of water but somehow he is holding urine for 6 to 10 hours at a time, that is not good cuz he is only 5.5 months and when he goes, he goes like the ocean
