Well, I did dislocate my knee when is was 17 years and again when I was 19 years old. The doctor told me I might need surgery one day but I have learned to live with it. I am now 59 years old. I have to be careful because it will slip out of the joint if I twist or move the wrong way but it does not hurt unless I do that. Occasionally, on and off over the years if I twist it, it will hurt and throb for awhile but I will just take it easy, take some ibuprofen and go on. I think our furry friends can deal with some of these aches and pains but of course if they are in constant pain you would do everything you can to help them.
