I was using melamine bowls made for little kids, they have stitch on them & are so cute. Logan has been sick on & off since christmas & after seeing this thread I checked to see if lead toxicity causes his symptoms & it does cause vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite & stomach pain. It also causes a taste in the mouth which would explain his recent snake like licking. I went home after work & checked & yup my cute bowls are made in china. So I told my hubby they are out. So I got out his old ceramic bowls, yup also made in china. So right now he is using 2 of my old corelle bowls, made in the U.S.A. I intend to get him his own set of Corelle this weekend.
Per wikipedia lead toxicity can be treated by taking the leaded item away. It's been proven that vitamin C will also lower the toxicity in the blood, is there any way I can give Logan vitamin C?
