I wish there was something I could do to help.
I saw that someone said that if you paid $1000 or more that it is considered Grand Theft! If this is the case, call the police back and insist that they come and take a report. Keep calling them until they help you.
I would call all the
vets, groomers, animal shelters, newspapers, radio stations, tv stations and follow up with flyers to all of them. I would also
post flyers everywhere I possibly could.
Post them all over the building you work in with a description of the man. Maybe someone will recognize his description and tell you who he is.
