Yes different lines can have a distinct look. Breeders will aim for a certain type and over the years develop it quite well. Some dogs like those out of Pastoral are very easy to spot because of their cutsie faces. Some lines have more leg, some run dark, some run light, some have more of a terrier look, some are very small and fine boned, some have more body. One of the most consistent lines around here is Caraneal, I just love Georgette's dogs. I can almost always pick one of her dogs out of a lineup, they are very moderate and well balanced.
