I have never had this happen before either...Our pups just whine for a small amount of time and mom settles in right away with them...

Are you taking mom's temp?...Sometimes when moms are not feeling well they will be antsy and not want to pay attention to the babies...That is one of the first signs of Eclampsia...Hope momma gets back in that box and gets back to bussiness!
