 My sick yorkie
Hello, I have posted on here before and someone asked that i post pictures of the hair loss, distended abdomen and skin discoloration. I am in the process of trying to get to the bottom of what my poor baby has. I live in a rural town, and the vets here dont know much about cushings and thyroid disorders. I am grasping for anyone that might know what could be wrong with this 8 year old yorkie. His sympotms are this: hair loss, except for the head and feet, and a tight distended abdomen, and a discoloration to his skin. He had a T4 test in June of 07 and is showed normal, which made us assume that a thyroid disorder was ruled out. Just curious to see what everone elses coments are. My vets here say that hair loss is normal for an old dog. I dont consider 8 to be old, and why would it be so sporadic? Any thoughts are appreciated. I have tried to post the pictures on here, but the website said they are too large. |
