Bella loves kids but I'm very careful with her around my 22 month old granddaughter. I never leave them alone together because Makenzie could accidently hurt Bella (she doesn't know any better) and Bella would snap at her if she did get hurt. It's like Bella knows that Makenzie could be "dangerous". When Bella's up and playing she won't leave Makenzie alone, just wants to follow her everywhere and licks her but when she's sleeping she doesn't like Makenzie near her. It's like she knows she has to be alert when Makenzie is around. So, long story short be very careful and supervise the time with your 4 year old and you shouldn't have any problems.
