Last week she asked my if she would be interested in adopting the Yorkies and breeding them.

My friend told her that at this time in her life she did not have time to care for and breed the Yorkies. The original owner would give her the Yorkies for free. Then asked that when the puppies are sold she would also benefit from the sale. The dogs have had all the health checks done and are UTD on shots. Anyway, she asked me if I was interested. I am looking to all of you for direction. I don't have all the financial details. What do I ask? I would love to give these guys a loving home.
I have also breed dogs in the past, but not yorkies, I bred Bichon's.
Your know your own situation and you must make your decision on several things....what are the ages of the Yorkies, are you in a position to take on the extra cost and responsibility of breeding the dogs, are her Yorkies good representatives of the breed. I see nothing wrong if the lady gives you the dogs and you work out some arrangement to give her a part of the money from the sale of the puppies. Whatever you decide you must get any arrangements in writing so there can be no misunderstanding later. Hopefully, this lady has been a responsible breeder and really cares for her dogs. It could possible be a good opportunity for you if you are really interested in breeding Yorkies if these are nice representatives of the breed. It sounds like you have some experience so that will be very helpful. Whatever you decide, I wish you the best.
