Well if he's eating and drinking okay on his own, I don't see why you can't bring him home. The motor skills will come back and that's not really something the vet can help. If you brought him home, you'd obviously have to keep him confined and rested. If you're too busy to look after him then I'd keep him at the vet but if not, bring him home! I think some TLC will fix everything.

I'm so glad to hear he's okay. Franklin did the same thing when we first got him.. he jumped right out of my boyfriend's arms and my boyfriend is 6' 4"! Thankfully, he caught him mid-air. They're feisty little animals..
