I feel so perplexed. After thinking about what kind of pup I'd want for over a year, I knew I wanted a yorkie when the time was right. My boyfriend and I got our puppy late December from this older couple who had a litter of 4 puppies. They said that it was their dog's first and last time having babies so they're not breeders, but I think they said their daughter was. Anywhoo, their ad said the pups were yorkies and didn't mention that they were mixed. They also told me they were AKC reg but wouldn't give out papers because they didn't want breeders. In retrospect, I should have asked to see the papers but we simply didn't know better - that, and they really seemed sincere and I trusted that. When I took Jamie to the vet yesterday, I saw another yorkie pup there and saw just how different he looked to him. I asked the doc as well, and he didn't think he was full either. I'm so confused and upset - we spent a good deal on him as well. His face nor his body isn't as square and taut, and I was told his ears stand up too much to be a yorkie. Either way, I love this pup, but if he is mixed, I feel like I should know with what. Here's a few pictures I just took of him, we'd really appreciate your input and what you make of all this. Thanks!
