I do think it's possible to get healthy yorkie puppies though...it's just going to take time searching for the right breeders to buy from. I just wish more people would take the time to search for a puppy. I'm not planning on getting another puppy for at least 3 years, but I'm already keeping my eyes and ears open for possible breeders to contact in the future and experiences others have had with them. I'm also trying to learn more about health screening and how to make sure I get a healthy puppy. I'll probably start contacting breeders a year before I'm ready to buy a puppy to start questioning them, getting to know them, and letting them get to know me. It may take me a year to fully trust a breeder And that way I can get put on a waiting list if there is one. I don't expect everyone to take a year to find their puppy, but if it takes that long, they should be willing to wait. It is just so important to buy from a reputable breeder and make sure you are confident buying from them |
