Exactly. My parents are both short, and I ended up tall. They have dark hair, I have lighter hair. They have gray and hazel eyes, and I have blue eyes. No I wasn't adopted.
Just like us, genetics in dogs is no sure thing, but many people when buying puppies would sure love it to be.
