Various sources, including my vet, recommended it. (Just a little info: My 6.5 lb. pommie ate about 1 1/2 c. of chicken salad and Poison Control said I needed to induce vomiting. ) Joanne
Oh I know how you feel. It is all very confusing. I'm hoping he will start to feel better soon. I got him to eat some ice chips and laid a cool rag on him for about a half an hour. He's still very warm and when I put him onto my bed to go to sleep he hopped off, skulked off to his crate and laid down. He has NEVER refused sleeping in my bed before. He must be feeling pretty badly. I hope by tomorrow morning he will have perked up. The E-Vet made a good point that he may be a little overheated from excitement/stress because we did have some people over for the super bowl tonight so you never know, he might just be being a drama queen. (hope so ) We don't have an appropriate thermometer (sp) so tomorrow morning I'm running to the drug store to get a digital *rear end* thermometer (sp). And if his temp is up we're headed to the vets asap. I'll keep you guys updated.
