Just wanted to say that I can tell by your words that you care very deeply for this little girl. I know that your love will find her a forever home. Actually, there is someone in our small town that has been looking for a little girl just Maggie's size. Think I'll give them a call tomorrow and mention this to them. They also have a rescue beagle.
