How does a person know what to do about giving a doggie aspirin when one place recommends it and another says "NOOOO!"? Just found out the other day that the ASPCA Dog Poison Control Center does not recommend giving Pepto-Bismol® to calm a dog's stomach after he/she has vomited. Said it has aspirin in it.

Various sources, including my vet, recommended it. (Just a little info: My 6.5 lb. pommie ate about 1 1/2 c. of chicken salad and Poison Control said I needed to induce vomiting.
